Wait your turn. Early morning in Namiri Plains. We saw a couple of lions enjoying breakfast on a wildebeest kill. The youngsters were hanging around at safe distance. Hyenas were beginning to approach. Then it was the turn of the youngsters and hyenas began gettin’ closer to the kill. The youngsters repelled the hyenas’ attacks a couple of times. Finally, hyenas did the robbery and had their meal too. Jackals and vultures ate the leftovers. Everyone has to wait for his turn. Namiri Plains, Serengeti, January 2023.
